Olympia Sports Camp
Operating since 1973, Olympia Sports Camp is one of the premier and most sought after camps in Muskoka.
Karate and Self Defense camps were first offered in the early 1990’s, instructed by Yamanaka Shihan himself. The programs have since been passed down to his students and their students.
The Kempo Karate Session is directed by Dan Carell Sensei, and is based on the 3 programs offered at Iron Tree. With katas, drills, and principles derived from Goju Ryu Karate, Ng Ying Kune Kung Fu, and Yamanaka-ha Shindo Ryu Jujutsu, students of all skill levels and disciplines will be challenged to push their limits and become a better version of themselves.
The Self Defence Session is directed by Jaimie Yamanaka Sensei. She is a Certified instructor of Personal Protection Systems (P.P.S.) and life-long martial artist. Her charisma and contagious energy is perfect for empowering women to take control and be safe at work, at school, and at life.
